Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened and slightly melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and powdered sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Gradually mix in the flour until a soft dough forms.
- Roll dough into 1-tablespoon balls and place on the prepared sheet, spacing evenly.
- Flatten slightly with a fork or leave rounded.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. Dough can be frozen for up to 3 months. Optional: add vanilla, almond extract, or zest for flavor variations.
