Description
Perfectly crispy Airfried Potatoes seasoned with garlic, paprika, and rosemary—quick, healthy, and delicious every time.
Ingredients
-
4–5 Maris Piper potatoes (or other starchy potatoes)
-
3–4 tablespoons olive oil
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1/2 teaspoon paprika
-
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary (or fresh, chopped)
-
Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
-
Prepare the Potatoes:
Wash and peel the potatoes (optional). Chop them into bite-sized cubes, about 1-inch pieces for even cooking. -
Rinse to Remove Starch:
Rinse the potato cubes under cold water to remove excess surface starch. This step helps achieve a crisper texture. -
Dry Thoroughly:
Drain and pat the potatoes completely dry with kitchen towels or paper towels to avoid sogginess. -
Season the Potatoes:
Place the dried potatoes in a large bowl. Add olive oil, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and rosemary. Toss well to ensure every piece is coated evenly. -
Preheat the Airfryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 205°C (400°F) for 3-5 minutes. -
Cook the Potatoes:
Spread the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket to allow maximum airflow. Cook for about 20 minutes, shaking or stirring halfway through for even crisping. -
Check for Doneness:
Potatoes should be golden brown and crispy on the outside, tender inside. If needed, cook an extra 3-5 minutes. -
Garnish and Serve:
Remove potatoes from the air fryer. Garnish with fresh parsley and sprinkle additional salt or paprika to taste. Serve hot.
Notes
Use starchy potatoes like Maris Piper or Russet for the crispiest results.
Avoid overcrowding the basket; cook in batches if needed for even crispiness.
Drying potatoes well after rinsing is key to avoid steaming instead of roasting.
Adjust seasoning quantities based on personal preference or try adding chili flakes for heat.
