  • Author: Sarah White
  • Total Time: 50 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

A cheesy, hearty casserole that combines the flavors of a bacon cheeseburger with the comfort of ramen noodles. Perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 strips bacon, cooked crisp and chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 packs ramen noodles, seasoning discarded
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley or green onion for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and chop into small pieces.
  2. In the same skillet, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Add diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant. Drain excess fat.
  3. Meanwhile, cook ramen noodles in boiling water until just underdone. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, combine beef mixture, chopped bacon, noodles, and 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  5. Transfer to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave. This dish can also be made ahead and baked just before serving.
