Description
Flaky biscuits filled with roast beef, provolone, and creamy horseradish for a handheld twist on the classic French dip sandwich.
Ingredients
-
16 oz refrigerated biscuits (8-count)
-
1 lb sliced deli roast beef
-
8 slices provolone cheese
-
2 tbsp creamy horseradish sauce
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Flatten each biscuit into a 4–5 inch round using your hands or a rolling pin.
-
Spread a thin layer of horseradish sauce in the center of each biscuit.
-
Add a slice of provolone cheese and 2–3 slices of roast beef on top.
-
Fold edges of the biscuit over the filling and pinch tightly to seal. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
-
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown and fully cooked.
-
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm, with au jus for dipping if desired.
Notes
Serve with a side of beef broth or au jus for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven for best results.
