Description
Juicy, tender turkey wings baked to perfection with garlic, onion, and olive oil. A simple, comforting dish that’s big on flavor.
Ingredients
- 3–4 turkey wings, separated at the joints
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Rinse and pat turkey wings dry, then place them in a large bowl.
- Coat wings with olive oil or butter and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs. Toss well to coat.
- Spread chopped onion and minced garlic evenly on the bottom of a baking dish. Place turkey wings on top.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour, allowing the wings to become tender and juicy.
- Remove foil, increase oven temperature to 400°F (200°C), and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving to allow juices to settle.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the wings overnight. Leftovers keep well in the fridge for 3–4 days or can be frozen up to 3 months. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.
