A decadent and indulgent dessert combining moist chocolate cake, caramel, toffee, and whipped topping.

- 1 (15.25 ounce) package devil’s food cake mix
- 1 ¼ cups water
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- ½ (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 8 ounces caramel ice cream topping, divided
- 3 ¼ (1.4 ounce) bars chocolate-covered toffee, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the devil’s food cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is still warm, poke holes all over with the handle of a wooden spoon. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, allowing it to soak in.
- Pour half of the caramel topping over the cake. Sprinkle chopped toffee bars evenly over the top.
- Allow the cake to cool completely. Spread the whipped topping evenly over the cooled cake.
- Drizzle the remaining caramel topping over the whipped topping and sprinkle with more chopped toffee bars.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
For an extra chocolatey flavor, use a chocolate fudge cake mix. You can also substitute the caramel topping with butterscotch or chocolate syrup.
