A flavorful and easy-to-make Branzino recipe that brings the taste of the Mediterranean to your kitchen.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 whole Branzino (sea bass) fish, cleaned
  • 4 lemon wedges, divided
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • ½ cup white wine
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano leaves
  • ¼ cup chopped Italian flat-leaf parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a baking dish, drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil and add the chopped red onion. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place the cleaned Branzino on top of the onions. Stuff each fish with 2 lemon wedges and a sprig of rosemary.
  • Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the fish. Pour the white wine and lemon juice into the dish.
  • Sprinkle fresh oregano leaves and chopped parsley over the fish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
