			- 20 ounces (4 pieces, 5 oz each) boneless skinless chicken breasts, thawed
- ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
- 0.7-ounce packet dry Italian dressing mix
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or nonstick spray.
- Prepare the seasoning mix: In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, Italian dressing mix, and sweet paprika. Stir until well blended.
- Season the chicken: Brush each chicken breast lightly with olive oil, then rub the brown sugar mixture generously over each piece, coating both sides.
- Bake: Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the glaze is bubbly and caramelized.
- Rest and serve: Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Spoon any extra glaze from the pan over the top for added flavor.
Notes
Active time: 5 minutes. Passive time: 25 minutes. For extra caramelization, broil for the final 2 minutes of baking. You can also make this in an air fryer at 375°F for about 14–16 minutes, flipping halfway through.
