Description

A crunchy, chocolate-peanut butter snack mix coated in powdered sugar and loaded with crushed Butterfingers. Perfect for parties or gifting!


Ingredients

  • 7 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup salted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 Butterfinger candy bars, crushed

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. 
  2. Place the Rice Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently fold until fully coated. 
  3. Transfer the coated cereal to a large zip-top bag. Add powdered sugar, seal, and shake until the cereal is evenly coated. 
  4. Add crushed Butterfinger pieces to the mix and stir gently to distribute. 
  5. Let cool for 10 minutes, then serve or store in an airtight container.
