Description
This creamy Caesar chicken with asparagus is an easy one-pan dinner that’s flavorful, healthy, and ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
-
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
-
Salt, to taste
-
Black pepper, to taste
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
3 garlic cloves, minced
-
1/2 cup Caesar dressing
-
1/4 cup heavy cream
-
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
-
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into halves or thirds
Instructions
-
Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
-
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown, then set aside.
-
Reduce heat slightly and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
-
Stir in Caesar dressing, heavy cream, and Parmesan. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
-
Add asparagus to the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
-
Return chicken to the pan, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for 5 minutes until fully cooked.
-
Garnish with extra Parmesan and serve immediately with rice, pasta, or bread.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated gently with a splash of broth or cream. For a lighter version, swap cream for Greek yogurt.
