A luscious, no-bake dessert layered with buttery pound cake, creamy vanilla pudding, and sweet apple pie filling. Perfect for fall gatherings or anytime you crave a cozy treat.
Ingredients
 • 2 frozen classic pound cakes, thawed and cubed
• 4 cups cold whole milk
• 2 boxes (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
• 2 cans (21 oz each) apple pie filling
• 1 cup caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling
• Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
• Crushed toffee bits or chopped pecans (optional garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the cold milk and instant pudding mix until thickened. Chill for 5–10 minutes.Â
- Slice the thawed pound cakes into 1-inch cubes and set aside.Â
- In a large trifle bowl, create a layer of pound cake cubes, followed by a layer of pudding, and then apple pie filling.Â
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the apple layer before repeating the layers until the bowl is full.Â
- Finish with a final drizzle of caramel sauce on top.Â
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.Â
- Just before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with toffee bits or chopped pecans if desired.
Notes
 For best flavor, make this trifle a day ahead so the layers can fully set. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
