Description

A luscious, no-bake dessert layered with buttery pound cake, creamy vanilla pudding, and sweet apple pie filling. Perfect for fall gatherings or anytime you crave a cozy treat.

Ingredients

 • 2 frozen classic pound cakes, thawed and cubed
• 4 cups cold whole milk
• 2 boxes (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
• 2 cans (21 oz each) apple pie filling
• 1 cup caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling
• Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
• Crushed toffee bits or chopped pecans (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the cold milk and instant pudding mix until thickened. Chill for 5–10 minutes.
  2. Slice the thawed pound cakes into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
  3. In a large trifle bowl, create a layer of pound cake cubes, followed by a layer of pudding, and then apple pie filling.
  4. Drizzle caramel sauce over the apple layer before repeating the layers until the bowl is full.
  5. Finish with a final drizzle of caramel sauce on top.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Just before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with toffee bits or chopped pecans if desired.

Notes

For best flavor, make this trifle a day ahead so the layers can fully set. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
