Description

Elegant Caviar Cucumber Bites recipe featuring creamy dill spread, crisp cucumber, and paddlefish caviar—perfect for parties and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons Mexican crema (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill, plus more for garnish
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Zest from one lemon
  • 1 small cucumber
  • 24 crackers
  • ¼ cup paddlefish caviar

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and Mexican crema. Stir until completely smooth and well blended.
  2. Add the chopped fresh dill, salt, and lemon zest to the mixture. Mix gently to distribute the flavors evenly.
  3. Taste the spread and adjust seasoning if needed, adding more salt or dill to suit your preference.
  4. Thinly slice the cucumber into uniform rounds. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  5. Arrange the crackers on a serving platter. Spread a generous layer of the cream mixture onto each cracker.
  6. Top each cracker with a slice of cucumber.
  7. Carefully spoon a small amount of paddlefish caviar onto each cucumber slice.
  8. Garnish with extra fresh dill and serve immediately.

Notes

Keep the cream mixture chilled until ready to assemble for the best texture.

Use a non-metal spoon when handling caviar to preserve its delicate flavor.

Assemble just before serving to keep crackers crisp.
