  • Author: Sarah White
  • Total Time: 33 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Description

Crispy tortillas filled with sweet crab, tender shrimp, and melted cheese, served with a rich garlic cream sauce. Perfect for parties or weeknight indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 8 small flour tortillas

  • 1 cup crab meat

  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • Paprika, a pinch

  • 2 tbsp butter (for sauce)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Fresh parsley or chives, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine crab meat, chopped shrimp, mozzarella, cheddar, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix gently.

  3. Lay a tortilla flat and spoon 2–3 tablespoons of the seafood mixture into the center. Fold edges to form a sealed pouch. Repeat with remaining tortillas.

  4. Brush each tortilla bomb with melted butter and place on the prepared baking sheet.

  5. Bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden and crisp.

  6. Meanwhile, melt 2 tbsp butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and sautƩ until fragrant.

  7. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes. Add Parmesan, whisking until smooth.

  8. Remove baked tortilla bombs from the oven, drizzle with garlic cream, and garnish with parsley or chives. Serve immediately.

Notes

Serve hot for the best texture. Make-ahead option: assemble bombs and refrigerate unbaked for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 1 month. Garlic cream can be made ahead and reheated gently. Pair with a crisp salad or white wine.
