Description

A creamy, dreamy no-bake dessert with layers of sweetened cream cheese, fluffy cake cubes, and a luscious cherry topping. Perfect for gatherings and holidays.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • ⅓ cup whole milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 prepared angel food cake or sponge cake, cut into cubes
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (21 oz)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add powdered sugar gradually, mixing until well blended.
  3. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  4. Layer half of the cake cubes in the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
  5. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the cake.
  6. Top with half of the cherry pie filling.
  7. Repeat layers with remaining cake, cream mixture, and cherries.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese and skim milk. Try substituting blueberries, strawberries, or peaches for the cherry topping. Store covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
