Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups cooked chopped chicken
- 1 cup cooked chopped bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ⅓ cup Chick-fil-A sauce
- 1 (17.3-oz) package puff pastry, thawed
- 1 large egg
- 1 Tbsp water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare filling: In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese, and Chick-fil-A sauce. Mix until evenly combined.
- Prepare puff pastry: Unfold thawed puff pastry and cut into 8 equal squares.
- Assemble puffs: Spoon a portion of the filling into the center of each puff pastry square. Fold corners over or fold in half to create a sealed pocket. Press edges with a fork.
- Prepare egg wash: Beat the egg with 1 Tbsp water. Brush the top of each pastry puff with the egg wash to achieve a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until puff pastry is golden brown and fully puffed.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Make sure puff pastry is thawed but still cold for best puffing.
Avoid overfilling the pastry squares to prevent leakage.
Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
