Description
 A rich and comforting dish of tender chicken and fluffy rice coated in a creamy garlic sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or entertaining guests.
Ingredients
- 450 g chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup long-grain rice, uncooked
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the rice in chicken broth until fluffy, then set aside.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet, then sear chicken until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir, then add Parmesan cheese until a smooth, creamy sauce forms.
- Stir the cooked rice into the sauce until well coated. Return chicken to the skillet and toss everything together.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving hot.
Notes
 For extra flavor, add spinach or mushrooms. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of broth or cream to keep it creamy.
