Description

A festive holiday cheesecake with a buttery sugar cookie crust and creamy filling. Perfect for Christmas gatherings and parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups sugar cookie dough

  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped

  • Whipped cream, for topping

  • Holiday sprinkles or crushed candy canes, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Press sugar cookie dough into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden, then let cool.

  2. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla until creamy.

  3. Whip heavy cream in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the cream cheese mixture.

  4. Spread the filling evenly over the cooled cookie crust. Smooth the top and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.

  5. Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with sprinkles or crushed candy canes. Slice and enjoy.

Notes

For clean slices, use a warm knife wiped between cuts. The cheesecake can be made 1–2 days ahead and stored covered in the fridge. Freeze undecorated for up to 2 months.
