Description
 A festive holiday cheesecake with a buttery sugar cookie crust and creamy filling. Perfect for Christmas gatherings and parties.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups sugar cookie dough
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
- Whipped cream, for topping
- Holiday sprinkles or crushed candy canes, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Press sugar cookie dough into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden, then let cool.
- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla until creamy.
- Whip heavy cream in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread the filling evenly over the cooled cookie crust. Smooth the top and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with sprinkles or crushed candy canes. Slice and enjoy.
Notes
For clean slices, use a warm knife wiped between cuts. The cheesecake can be made 1–2 days ahead and stored covered in the fridge. Freeze undecorated for up to 2 months.
