Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium potato, peeled and cubed
- ½ pound ground beef
- ½ pound ground pork
- ½ cup chopped onion
- ⅓ clove garlic, chopped
- ½ teaspoon mustard powder
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- ¼ teaspoon dried sage
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ cup water
- 1 (15 ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Boil the potato cubes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef, ground pork, onion, and garlic over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

- Add water and mashed potatoes to the skillet. Mix until well combined.
- Roll out one pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish. Fill with the meat mixture.

- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use beef broth instead of water.
- Serve with a side of green vegetables or a fresh salad.
