Description
A hearty and flavorful side dish made with tender green beans, creamy potatoes, and crispy bacon tossed in ranch seasoning. Perfect for family dinners or potlucks.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cups baby potatoes (or 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced)
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 ounce)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a large baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine green beans, potatoes, olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the chopped bacon over the top.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, stirring halfway through, until potatoes are tender and bacon is crisp.
- Remove from oven and serve hot as a flavorful side dish.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese before serving. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
