Description

A hearty and flavorful side dish made with tender green beans, creamy potatoes, and crispy bacon tossed in ranch seasoning. Perfect for family dinners or potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 4 cups baby potatoes (or 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced)

  • 6 slices bacon, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 ounce)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a large baking sheet or line with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, combine green beans, potatoes, olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.

  3. Spread the mixture in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the chopped bacon over the top.

  4. Bake for 35–40 minutes, stirring halfway through, until potatoes are tender and bacon is crisp.

  5. Remove from oven and serve hot as a flavorful side dish.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese before serving. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
