Description
A hearty, flavorful side dish combining tender green beans, baby potatoes, and crispy bacon. Perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 ½ pounds baby potatoes (red or Yukon gold), halved or quartered
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the baby potatoes and cook until tender, about 10–12 minutes.
- In the last 3–4 minutes of potato cooking, add the green beans to the same pot. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the cooked bacon and potatoes with green beans. Toss to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and cook for 2–3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra crumbled bacon if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, toss with a tablespoon of butter or a sprinkle of fresh herbs like parsley. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
