Description
These Cranberry Cream Cheese Crescent Bites combine flaky crescent dough, creamy vanilla filling, and tart cranberry sauce for an effortless yet elegant holiday treat. Perfect for parties or cozy nights in!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- Optional: chopped pecans or orange zest for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. - Prepare the Filling:
In a small mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. - Unroll the Crescent Dough:
Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place them on the prepared baking sheet. - Add the Filling:
Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each triangle. Then top with 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce. - Fold and Shape:
Carefully roll up each triangle from the wide end to the tip, tucking in the edges slightly to help seal the filling inside. Don’t worry if some filling peeks out — it’ll look rustic and lovely once baked. - Add Toppings (Optional):
Sprinkle chopped pecans or a touch of orange zest over the top of each roll for a decorative and flavorful touch. - Bake:
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky. - Serve:
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. They’re delicious warm or at room temperature!
Notes
Active Time: 10 minutes
Passive Time: 12 minutes
If you like your bites extra sweet, dust the tops with a little powdered sugar after baking.
To make the cream cheese filling fluffier, beat it for 1–2 minutes with an electric mixer.
These are best served fresh but can be made ahead and reheated gently.
