Creamy Pepperoncini Chicken Skillet is a rich, tangy one-pan meal made with chicken, cream, peppers, and Italian seasoning.

- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 lbs chicken, cut into thin strips
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- 1 white onion, diced
- 2 tbsp garlic, diced
- ½ cup chicken stock
- ½ cup roasted red pepper, drained and sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- ½ cup pepperoncini peppers, drained (sliced, ring, or whole)
Instructions
- Season the Chicken
Toss chicken strips with sea salt and ground pepper. - Sear the Chicken
Melt 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until lightly browned. Remove and set aside. - Cook the Aromatics
In the same skillet, add diced onion and garlic. Cook until softened and fragrant. - Deglaze the Pan
Pour in the chicken stock, scraping up browned bits from the bottom. - Add the Vegetables
Stir in roasted red peppers and pepperoncini. - Make the Cream Sauce
Reduce heat. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Stir until creamy and smooth. - Return Chicken to Skillet
Add the chicken back into the sauce and simmer until fully cooked and thickened. - Serve
Spoon over rice, pasta, potatoes, or bread.
Notes
Slice chicken uniformly for even cooking.
Add pepperoncini brine for extra tanginess.
Simmer gently to avoid curdling the cream.
