Crispy Low-Carb Cottage Cheese Chips deliver a high-protein, low-carb crunch perfect for guilt-free snacking anytime.
Ingredients
- 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or cheddar)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder or herbs (optional)
- Parchment paper (for baking)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven.
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Prepare the cottage cheese.
Pat the cottage cheese dry using paper towels to remove excess moisture.
3. Mix the ingredients.
In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and optional herbs or garlic powder.
4. Portion the mixture.
Scoop small spoonfuls onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each chip.
5. Flatten the chips.
Use the back of a spoon to gently flatten each mound into a thin circle.
6. Bake until crisp.
Bake for 15–25 minutes or until edges are golden brown and centers are crisp.
7. Cool completely.
Let the chips cool on the tray to achieve maximum crispness.
Notes
The thinner the chips, the crispier they will be.
For extra crunch, use a silicone baking mat instead of parchment paper.
If chips soften after cooling, return them to the oven for 3–5 minutes.
Parmesan produces the crispest chips; cheddar makes them slightly chewier.
