Ranch Chicken Bites

Crispy Ranch Chicken Bites

  • Author: Sarah White

Description

These Ranch Chicken Bites are crispy, juicy, and full of herby ranch flavor. With only three ingredients, they’re quick to make, endlessly versatile, and perfect for busy weeknights or snackable appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp homemade ranch seasoning (or store-bought if you prefer)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or chives
  • Optional dip: ranch dressing or garlic aioli

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken.
Cut the chicken breasts into evenly sized bite-sized cubes. Pat them dry with paper towels—this helps the seasoning stick and ensures a golden crust.
  2. Season generously.
In a large bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil and ranch seasoning. Mix well until every piece is evenly coated.
  3. Cook on the stovetop.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken in a single layer (cook in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding).
  4. Sear and cook through.
Cook for about 4–5 minutes per side, flipping once, until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. Serve hot.
Remove from the pan, sprinkle with extra herbs if desired, and serve with your favorite dipping sauce or sides.

Notes

Active time: 10 minutes

Passive time: 12 minutes (cooking)

For crispier edges, use a cast-iron skillet—it distributes heat beautifully.

If baking, preheat oven to 425°F and bake on a parchment-lined sheet for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Adjust salt depending on whether your ranch mix contains it already.
