Ingredients

  • 1 large zucchini

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tablespoons milk

  • 2 cups crushed Corn Flakes

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mint


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Wash and slice the zucchini into sticks about 3 inches long and 1/2 inch thick.

  • In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and water until well combined.

  • In another bowl, mix crushed corn flakes with salt, black pepper, turmeric, and dried mint.

  • Dip each zucchini stick into the egg mixture, ensuring it is fully coated.

  • Roll the coated zucchini sticks in the corn flakes mixture, pressing gently to help the crumbs stick.

  • Place the coated sticks on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

Use a firm, fresh zucchini—larger ones may need seeds removed for better texture.

Grate the zucchini and squeeze out excess moisture with a clean towel to prevent sogginess.

The egg and milk help bind the coating, making it stick better during cooking.
