  • Author: Sarah White

Description

Make tender, fall-off-the-bone Crock Pot Ribs Recipe with rich BBQ sauce and simple ingredients for an effortless, delicious dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ½ cups BBQ sauce (such as Sweet Baby Ray’s)
  • ½ tablespoon salt
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 pounds pork ribs (baby back or St. Louis style)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ribs
Pat ribs dry and remove the thin membrane on the back for maximum tenderness.
  2. Season the meat
Sprinkle salt evenly over the ribs and rub in the minced garlic.
  3. Add to the slow cooker
Place ribs into the Crock Pot, cutting into sections if necessary to fit comfortably.
  4. Add BBQ sauce
Pour BBQ sauce over the ribs, ensuring they are well-coated.
  5. Cook low and slow
Cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or on HIGH for 4–5 hours until ribs are extremely tender.
  6. Optional broil
Transfer ribs to a baking sheet, brush with additional BBQ sauce, and broil for 3–5 minutes to caramelize.
  7. Serve and enjoy
Serve warm with extra BBQ sauce, coleslaw, cornbread, or your favorite sides.

Notes

Removing the membrane improves flavor absorption.

Cooking on LOW yields the most tender texture.

Use tongs gently to move ribs—they’ll be very delicate!
