- 16.5 ounces boxed spice cake mix
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Lightly grease the Crock-Pot with butter or cooking spray.
- Spread the apple pie filling evenly across the bottom of the Crock-Pot.
- Sprinkle the dry spice cake mix evenly over the apples without stirring.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Top with oats and walnuts for added crunch.
- Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours, until the cake topping is golden and cooked through.
- Serve warm, with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
