Description

Tender yellow potatoes slow-cooked with garlic, onion, salt, and pepper for a savory, melt-in-your-mouth side dish. Perfect for family dinners or potlucks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds yellow potatoes, cut into quarters
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Wash and quarter the yellow potatoes, keeping the pieces as even as possible for consistent cooking.
  2. Place the potatoes in the slow cooker and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Toss gently to coat.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the potatoes are fork-tender.
  4. Stir gently before serving to redistribute the seasonings, then enjoy warm as a side dish.

Notes

For added richness, drizzle with melted butter or olive oil before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven until warmed through.
