Description
Hearty slow-cooked sirloin, tender potatoes, onions, and melted cheddar cheese make this a comforting one-pot meal.
Ingredients

2 lbs sirloin steak, cubed

4 large potatoes, diced

1 onion, diced

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions

Wash and dice the potatoes and onion; cube the sirloin steak into 1-inch pieces.

Layer half of the potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker, then add the onions on top.

Place the cubed steak over the potatoes and onions, seasoning with salt and pepper.

Pour 1/2 cup beef broth evenly over the ingredients.

Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours until steak is tender and potatoes are cooked through.

Sprinkle shredded cheddar over the top 15 minutes before cooking ends and cover until melted.

Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh herbs.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate steak in garlic and herbs before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Serve with a green salad or steamed vegetables.
