Description

Ingredients

  • 1 crescent dough sheet
  • 2 apples (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion (finely chopped)
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme (use more if fresh)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until translucent.
  • Add the chopped apples, salt, and thyme. Cook until apples are slightly tender.
  • Roll out the crescent dough and spread the apple-onion mixture evenly on top.
  • Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese over the mixture.
  • Roll the dough tightly and slice into pinwheels.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
