- 1 cup Butter, softened to Room Temperature (Sweet Cream, Salted)
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 3/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Bag Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix the baking soda, salt, and flour.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the dough in half. Melt half of the chocolate chips and mix with one half of the dough to create the marble effect.
- Take small scoops of both doughs and gently swirl them together before placing on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a stronger marble effect, mix the doughs lightly and bake immediately.
