  • Author: Sarah White
  • Total Time: 3 hours 10 minutes (including chilling time)
  • Yield: About 30 gummy worms (depending on mold size)
  • Diet: Gluten Free

Description

These chewy dill pickle gummy worms are tangy, quirky, and surprisingly addictive. A fun twist on classic gummies for adventurous snack lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dill pickle juice (from the jar)
  • 3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or honey (optional, for balance)
  • A few drops of green or yellow food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour the dill pickle juice into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin over the juice and let it bloom for 3–5 minutes.

  2. Place the saucepan over low heat, stirring until the gelatin fully dissolves. Add sugar or honey if using, and stir until combined.

  3. Add food coloring if desired, then carefully pour the mixture into gummy worm molds or an ice cube tray.

  4. Refrigerate for 2–3 hours, or until the gummies are firm. Remove from molds and enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

For a spicier twist, use hot pickle brine or add a pinch of cayenne. Store gummies in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Best enjoyed within 3 days for peak texture.
