Description
Juicy double smash burger layered with cream cheese, crispy bacon, spicy jalapeños, and a cool ranch drizzle. The ultimate indulgent burger experience.
Ingredients
-
2 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend)
-
8 slices bacon
-
4 fresh jalapeños, sliced into rounds
-
4 oz cream cheese, softened
-
1 cup shredded cheddar or pepper jack cheese
-
4 brioche or potato buns, toasted
-
1/2 cup ranch dressing
-
1 tbsp vegetable oil
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lay bacon on a parchment-lined sheet pan and bake for 15 minutes until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
-
Heat a small skillet with oil over medium heat. Sauté jalapeño slices for 3–4 minutes until softened and slightly charred. Set aside.
-
Divide ground beef into 8 equal portions and roll into loose balls. Do not pack tightly.
-
Heat a cast iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Place beef balls on the surface, then press firmly with a spatula to form thin patties. Season with salt and pepper.
-
Cook patties 2–3 minutes until edges are browned. Flip, top with shredded cheese, and cook 1–2 minutes until cheese melts.
-
Spread cream cheese onto the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with sautéed jalapeños and crispy bacon.
-
Place one cheeseburger patty on top, drizzle with ranch, then stack with a second patty. Finish with more ranch and the top bun. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a milder version, substitute poblano peppers for jalapeños. Store cooked patties in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet before serving. Pairs perfectly with fries, onion rings, or a fresh coleslaw.
