  • Yield: 8 servings

Description

Golden crescent rolls filled with tender chicken, gooey mozzarella, and baked in a creamy sauce. A comforting and family-friendly dinner.

Ingredients

  • 5 boneless chicken breasts, cooked and chopped

  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese

  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 1 soup can full of milk

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Cooking spray or butter, for greasing dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup and milk until smooth. Set aside.

  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place chicken and mozzarella on the wide end of each piece.

  4. Roll each triangle around the filling, sealing the edges, and place seam side down in the baking dish.

  5. Pour the soup mixture evenly over the rolls. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until rolls are golden brown and sauce is bubbling.

  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow sauce to thicken slightly.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven. Try adding broccoli or spinach to the filling for extra flavor and nutrition.
