Description
Golden tortilla bombs filled with creamy crab, shrimp, and cheese, topped with a rich garlic cream sauce. A perfect appetizer or party snack.
Ingredients
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 cup crab meat
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or chives, chopped
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, chopped shrimp, cream cheese, mozzarella, herbs, salt, and pepper until well blended.
- Lay tortillas flat and place 2–3 tablespoons of filling in the center of each. Fold and tuck edges to form sealed pouches.
- Arrange filled tortillas seam-side down on a greased baking sheet and brush lightly with butter or oil.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–20 minutes, until golden and crisp.
- Meanwhile, prepare garlic cream: melt butter in a saucepan, sauté garlic until fragrant, then add cream and Parmesan. Simmer until thickened.
- Drizzle garlic cream over warm tortilla bombs before serving.
Notes
Best served warm and fresh. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven for crispiness. Can be frozen before baking and cooked directly from frozen.
