Juicy, creamy chicken cooked in ranch seasoning and cream cheese, perfect for easy weeknight sandwiches.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (1 oz)
- 1 block cream cheese (8 oz), softened
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Optional: lettuce, tomato, pickles, or sandwich buns for serving
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken.
- Cut cream cheese into cubes and place over the chicken.
- Pour chicken broth over all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks directly in the slow cooker and mix until creamy.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve on sandwich buns with optional toppings.
Notes
For extra flavor, add garlic or onion powder. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
