Ingredients

  • 4 (4.51-oz.) bags soft caramels
  • 3 Tablespoons heavy cream
  • Assorted toppings: chopped nuts, sprinkles, or melted chocolate for drizzling

Instructions

  • Wash and thoroughly dry the apples, removing any wax or residue.
  • Insert lollipop or popsicle sticks into the tops of each apple.
  • In a saucepan, melt caramels over low heat with the heavy cream, stirring until smooth.
  • Dip each apple into the caramel, letting the excess drip off. Roll in assorted toppings if desired.
  • Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool and harden.
