  • Author: Sarah White
  • Total Time: 27 minutes
  • Yield: 4 burgers

Description

Juicy ground chicken burgers infused with sweet maple syrup and tangy Dijon mustard. A perfect fall-inspired twist on a classic favorite, great for grilling or pan-searing.

Ingredients

 • 1 pound ground chicken
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
• 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
• 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
• 4 pretzel buns, toasted
• Optional toppings: lettuce, Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, extra maple mustard sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, salt, pepper, maple syrup, and Dijon mustard. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 even patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to firm up.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side or until golden brown and fully cooked (165°F internal temperature).
  4. Toast pretzel buns lightly while the patties cook.
  5. Assemble burgers with your favorite toppings such as lettuce, cheese, and caramelized onions. Drizzle extra maple mustard sauce if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm gently in a skillet or microwave. Pairs well with sweet potato fries or apple slaw.
