Ingredients
- 4 ripe pears, halved and cored
- 1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped and toasted
- 1 tablespoon honey, plus extra for drizzling
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional, to prevent browning)
Instructions

- Toast walnuts in a dry skillet for 3–4 minutes until fragrant, then let cool.
- In a small bowl, combine crumbled blue cheese and walnuts, mixing well.
- Spoon the cheese mixture into the hollowed centers of the pears, filling generously.
- Drizzle each pear with honey just before serving. Optionally, bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes for a warm version.
Notes
For best results, use firm but ripe pears such as Bosc or Anjou. Serve immediately to preserve freshness. Can be paired with salad, charcuterie, or enjoyed as a light dessert.
