  • 1 Cup cranberries, frozen, thawed or fresh
  • 1 Cup raspberries, frozen, thawed or fresh
  • 2 Teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/3 Cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 Teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons heavy cream
  • Sugared cranberries, optional, for topping
  • Fresh mint, optional, for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface and transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix cranberries, raspberries, orange zest, granulated sugar, and salt.
  • Pour the fruit mixture into the center of the crust, leaving a border.
  • Fold the edges of the crust over the fruit, pleating as necessary.
  • Brush the crust with heavy cream and sprinkle with sugar if desired.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until the crust is golden and the fruit is bubbling.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.
