- 1 pie crust, 12 inch, either store-bought or homemade recipe for one pie crust
- 1 Cup cranberries, frozen, thawed or fresh
- 1 Cup raspberries, frozen, thawed or fresh
- 2 Teaspoon orange zest
- 1/3 Cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons heavy cream
- Sugared cranberries, optional, for topping
- Fresh mint, optional, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface and transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix cranberries, raspberries, orange zest, granulated sugar, and salt.
- Pour the fruit mixture into the center of the crust, leaving a border.
- Fold the edges of the crust over the fruit, pleating as necessary.
- Brush the crust with heavy cream and sprinkle with sugar if desired.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the crust is golden and the fruit is bubbling.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
