Description

Elegant Fig & Prosciutto Puff Pastry Twists with goat cheese—sweet, savory, flaky appetizer perfect for entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ (17.3-ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons fig spread
  • ½ cup goat cheese, softened
  • 2 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and gently roll to smooth seams.
  3. Spread the fig spread evenly over the surface of the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Dollop or spread the softened goat cheese evenly on top of the fig layer.
  5. Lay the prosciutto slices evenly across the pastry.
  6. Fold the pastry in half lengthwise, pressing gently to seal.
  7. Cut the pastry into even strips, about 1 inch wide.
  8. Twist each strip several times and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Work quickly with puff pastry to keep it cold for best rise.

Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter for clean edges.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
