Description

Rich, fudgy brownies topped with a creamy French silk mousse and fluffy whipped topping. A decadent, crowd-pleasing chocolate dessert.

Ingredients

 • 1 box brownie mix (not prepared)
• 1 egg
• 5 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
• 1/4 cup milk
• 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled
• 1 1/2 cups whipped topping (plus more for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven according to brownie mix instructions and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine the brownie mix, egg, melted butter, and milk. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake until set, about 20–25 minutes. Let cool completely.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix well.
  5. Blend in the melted chocolate until smooth, then gently fold in the whipped topping.
  6. Spread the French silk mixture evenly over the cooled brownies.
  7. Top with more whipped topping and chill for at least 3 hours before slicing.

Notes

Refrigerate leftovers for up to 5 days. For clean cuts, use a warm knife and wipe between slices. Garnish with chocolate curls for an elegant touch.
