Description
Rich, fudgy brownies topped with a creamy French silk mousse and fluffy whipped topping. A decadent, crowd-pleasing chocolate dessert.
Ingredients
 • 1 box brownie mix (not prepared)
• 1 egg
• 5 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
• 1/4 cup milk
• 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled
• 1 1/2 cups whipped topping (plus more for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven according to brownie mix instructions and grease a 9Ă—9-inch baking pan.Â
- In a bowl, combine the brownie mix, egg, melted butter, and milk. Mix until smooth.Â
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake until set, about 20–25 minutes. Let cool completely.Â
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix well.Â
- Blend in the melted chocolate until smooth, then gently fold in the whipped topping.Â
- Spread the French silk mixture evenly over the cooled brownies.Â
- Top with more whipped topping and chill for at least 3 hours before slicing.
Notes
 Refrigerate leftovers for up to 5 days. For clean cuts, use a warm knife and wipe between slices. Garnish with chocolate curls for an elegant touch.
