Ingredients

1 pound Italian loaf or French loaf

½ cup softened unsalted butter (can use salted)

4 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley

⅛ teaspoon sea salt
Optional cheese toppings:

¼ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

OR ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
For garnishing:

Extra parsley and chives
Instructions

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). -
Prepare Garlic Butter
In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and sea salt until well combined. -
Slice the Bread
Cut the Italian or French loaf in half lengthwise to create two large pieces. -
Spread the Garlic Butter
Generously spread the garlic butter mixture over the cut sides of the bread. -
Add Cheese (Optional)
Sprinkle parmesan or mozzarella cheese evenly over the buttered bread, if using. -
Bake
Place bread halves on a baking sheet, buttered side up. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the bread is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly. -
Garnish and Serve
Remove from oven, sprinkle with extra parsley and chives, slice, and serve warm.
