Description
Tender steak bites seared in garlic butter and topped with a luscious parmesan cream sauce. A quick, decadent meal ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp (28 g) unsalted butter, divided
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (50 g) freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat steak pieces dry and season generously with salt and pepper. Let sit for 10 minutes at room temperature.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt 1 tbsp butter. Add steak pieces in a single layer and sear 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Lower heat to medium, add remaining butter and garlic, and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Return steak to pan and toss in garlic butter.
- In a small saucepan, heat cream over medium heat until simmering. Whisk in parmesan and Italian seasoning until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Drizzle parmesan cream sauce over steak bites or serve on the side for dipping. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently to avoid overcooking the steak.
