Juicy beef burgers with melted Swiss cheese, earthy mushrooms, and buttery garlic herb potatoes cooked together in easy foil packs. Perfect for grilling, baking, or campfire meals.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 4 medium potatoes, diced (or baby potatoes halved)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley or thyme
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Shape into 4 patties.
- Toss diced potatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Place potatoes in the center of 4 large foil sheets. Top each with a beef patty and sliced mushrooms. Seal the foil tightly.
- Grill over medium-high heat or bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, flipping once, until potatoes are tender and burgers are fully cooked.
- Carefully open packs, add a slice of Swiss cheese to each patty, and reseal loosely for 2–3 minutes until melted. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Assemble foil packs up to 24 hours ahead for easy meal prep. Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 3 days. Perfect with a side salad or grilled vegetables.
