Description

A quick and flavorful one-pan meal combining savory ground beef with tender Brussels sprouts, garlic, and soy sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts, chop the onion, and mince the garlic.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the onion until soft.

  3. Add the garlic and cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.

  4. Add the ground beef, break it apart, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.

  5. Stir in the Brussels sprouts and cover, cooking 4–5 minutes until slightly tender.

  6. Add soy sauce and red pepper flakes, stirring to coat evenly.

  7. Cook uncovered 3–5 minutes until Brussels sprouts are tender-crisp and flavors meld.

  8. Remove from heat and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days; can also be frozen for up to 2 months. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds for extra flavor.
