Description

Fun and festive Halloween Rice Krispie Treats made with marshmallows, cereal, and candy corn. A quick, no-bake dessert perfect for parties.


Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons butter, divided into three 2-tablespoon portions
  • 6 cups mini marshmallows, divided into three 2-cup portions
  • 6 cups Rice Krispie cereal, divided into three 2-cup portions
  • 1/4 cup candy corn, plus extra for topping

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper or lightly grease with nonstick spray. 
  2. In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-low heat. Add 2 cups of marshmallows and stir until smooth. 
  3. Mix in 2 cups of Rice Krispie cereal until fully coated. Fold in a handful of candy corn and press evenly into the pan. 
  4. Repeat the process with another 2 tablespoons butter, 2 cups marshmallows, and 2 cups cereal. Press this second layer on top of the first. 
  5. For the final layer, melt the remaining butter and marshmallows, stir in the last 2 cups cereal, and add more candy corn. Press on top and sprinkle extra candy corn. 
  6. Allow to cool for 30 minutes, then cut into squares and serve.

Notes

 Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For extra decoration, drizzle with melted chocolate or add festive sprinkles.
