These Halloween Witch Hot Dog Fingers are creepy, fun, and fast. A gory snack perfect for Halloween parties and spooky dinners!

- 1 package of hot dogs (any brand, large BBQ size works best)
- Hot dog buns
- Ketchup (for “blood”)
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace: Lay out your hot dogs and buns. Use a small sharp knife for detail work.
- Shape the nail: Slice a shallow, oval-shaped section at one end of each hot dog to simulate a fingernail bed.
- Score the knuckles: Cut shallow horizontal lines across the middle and bottom thirds of the hot dog to create knuckle wrinkles. Two to three slashes per knuckle work best.
- Cook the hot dogs: Grill or pan-fry the hot dogs until browned. Cooking enhances the gory appearance and makes the cuts more realistic.
- Assemble the fingers: Place each hot dog into a bun. Add a generous squirt of ketchup at the severed base (opposite the fingernail) to mimic blood.
- Serve immediately: Best enjoyed warm, but can be prepped and reheated as needed.
Notes
Use BBQ-sized or jumbo hot dogs for more space to work with.
Make your cuts shallow to avoid splitting the hot dog during cooking.
