  • 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
  • 1 tub (8 ounces) whipped topping (Cool Whip)
  • 2 tablespoons toasted slivered almonds

Instructions

  • Prepare the vanilla pudding by whisking the instant pudding mix with milk. Let it sit for a few minutes until thickened.
  • Fold in the sour cream (or Greek yogurt) to create a rich and creamy pudding mixture.
  • In a large trifle dish or serving bowl, layer half of the cubed angel food cake at the bottom.
  • Spread half of the pudding mixture over the cake cubes, followed by half of the cherry pie filling.
