  • Author: Sarah White
  • Total Time: 25 min
  • Yield: 8 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough

  • ½ cup pizza sauce

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup pepperoni slices

  • Optional toppings: sliced mushrooms, diced bell peppers, cooked sausage

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning

  • Olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)

  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

  • Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface.

    • If using crescent roll dough: separate into triangles.

    • If using pizza dough: slice into 8 even rectangles.

  • Assemble the pockets:

    • Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce on each piece of dough.

    • Add mozzarella cheese and a few pepperoni slices (plus any optional toppings).

  • Season:

    • Sprinkle a touch of garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the filling.

  • Fold and seal:

    • Fold each piece of dough over the filling to create a pocket.

    • Use a fork to press and seal the edges closed.

  • Brush and top:

    • Lightly brush each pocket with olive oil or melted butter.

    • Sprinkle a bit of Parmesan cheese on top for added flavor and crunch.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough is golden and the cheese is melted.
