1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough

½ cup pizza sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup pepperoni slices

Optional toppings: sliced mushrooms, diced bell peppers, cooked sausage

¼ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp Italian seasoning

Olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)

Grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface.

If using crescent roll dough: separate into triangles.

If using pizza dough: slice into 8 even rectangles.

Assemble the pockets:

Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce on each piece of dough.

Add mozzarella cheese and a few pepperoni slices (plus any optional toppings).

Sprinkle a touch of garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the filling.

Fold and seal:

Fold each piece of dough over the filling to create a pocket.

Use a fork to press and seal the edges closed.

Brush and top:

Lightly brush each pocket with olive oil or melted butter.

Sprinkle a bit of Parmesan cheese on top for added flavor and crunch.

Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough is golden and the cheese is melted.

Let the pizza pockets cool for a few minutes. Serve with extra pizza sauce on the side for dipping, if you like.
